/v/'s Recommended Games Wiki

I suspect this list to grow some more in the future since it doesn't include nearly all systems yet, and there are usually multiple emulators for each system, so I wondered if it's okay if I restructured the article a bit. - Turbobutts

FCEUltra? I'm pretty sure it's at least the best NES emulator for Linux right now....

Also surprised not to see bsnes in here (even if byuu does pretty much say it's pointless to use it mostly.)

maybe we should link to the full wikia for this topic?

Can someone add mGBA its an very accurate GBA emulator that came out of nowhere. 2.88.4.106 23:34, June 24, 2016 (UTC)

Dreamcast[]

Sorry, but Demul is pretty much unusable. In fact, there is currently no good DC emulator. Welcome to your doom! 13:43, September 21, 2018 (UTC)

Even with the occasional glitches, it was good enough for me to beat Shenmue on it. --LYRIC-Stormwatch (talk) 01:11, September 22, 2018 (UTC)
I can't even get it to run, even with the right BIOS files and all. The thing is just too cryptic/obtuse to configure. I just settled with using NullDC instead, at least it works. Welcome to your doom! 14:03, September 24, 2018 (UTC)

Deleted pointless columns[]

I'm deleting these two columns:

  • Overall - if the compatibility is not great, this can go in the description area.
  • Architecture - no longer relevant as 64-bit has been the standard for a decade.

Also deleted the lists of emulators for Android and PSP; the pages for those systems already have lists of emulators, so those were redundant. LYRIC-Stormwatch (talk) 06:45, March 24, 2019 (UTC)
