The rather obscure Pokémon Mini was Nintendo's smallest and cheapest handheld console. Nintendo obviously counted on the absurd popularity of Pokémon to sell the device, however it flopped due to a poor marketing campaign, the very weak hardware (inferior to even the original Game Boy) and casual nature of it's games, and because people mistakely believed it was just a glorified Tamagotchi. Its library (not counting homebrews) consists of only a dozen games, and as its name implies, all of them are spin-offs of the Pokémon franchise.
